Brookings Dental Arts Provides More Than $24,000 of Free Dental Work
When people do not have dental insurance or the money to pay for dental work, they can suffer in silence as their dental problems grow worse. Dr. Brice Chang wants to help uninsured people get the dental work they need. Through his annual Volunteer Day, Brookings Dental Arts has provided more than $24,000 of free dental work.
For years, Brookings Dental Arts provided pro bono dental work to people in need that were referred to the clinic. To be able to reach even more people, Dr. Chang, owner of Brookings Dental Arts, opened his clinic for the first Volunteer Day in 2015.
The Volunteer Day is open to residents of Brookings, Gold Beach and Crescent City. Its goal is to help as many people as possible that have the most urgent needs. During the annual Volunteer Day, Dr. Chang and his staff help patients on a first come-first served basis. They extract teeth, do fillings and provided basic teeth cleanings.
We will announce details about the 2021 Volunteer Day in an upcoming edition of the clinic’s free quarterly newsletter.
